What it is
Dragon Racer's Rally is two rotating rides working side by side over the courtyard of the Viking village, swinging riders out and around on arms and rolling them through the top of the arc. It looks like a piece of village scenery from the path and it is comfortably the most physically intense flat ride at Epic Universe.
That mismatch is the whole story of this attraction. It sits in the friendliest world in the park, between a family coaster and a puppet show, and a meaningful number of families put a nervous eight-year-old on it because everything else nearby was gentle. Read the ride before you queue, not after.
Taken on its own terms it is a good, well-themed flat ride with a strong view over the harbor at the top of the arc, and thrill riders will enjoy it. It is simply in the wrong neighborhood for its intensity.
What riding it is actually like
You board on the courtyard platform under an over-the-shoulder restraint, which is the first clue that this is not the ride it looks like from the path.
The arms lift and rotate together, so you get both the swing of the arm and the roll of your own vehicle. The top of the arc gives you a second or two looking down over the village and the harbor, which is genuinely the best view of Isle of Berk available.
It is short, and it is the ride in this park most likely to send a queasy rider looking for a bench. If motion sickness is a problem for anyone in your party, this is the attraction to skip rather than the coasters.

This one catches families out. It looks like a gentle village attraction and it flips riders over on a rotating arm, which is more than most people expect from something in the same world as a puppet show.
