The entry bazaar and the park's only crossroads - no attractions at all, and most of the useful services.
Port of Entry is a trading-port street built out of borrowed architecture from about a dozen places at once - Moroccan arches, Indonesian roofs, a lighthouse, a canal. It contains no rides. That is not a gap in this guide; there genuinely are none, and knowing that saves you from wandering it looking for one.
What it does contain is everything operational. Guest Services, lockers, wheelchair and stroller rental, the package pickup counter, First Aid, and the largest concentration of shops in the park. It is also where the two paths of the loop begin: left toward Marvel Super Hero Island, right toward Seuss Landing. There is no route across the lagoon, so this street is the only place your day can turn around.
Food-wise it is stronger than it looks. Confisco Grille is the park's only sit-down restaurant outside Mythos and takes walk-ups when nowhere else will, the Backwater Bar behind it is a properly good bar that almost nobody finds, and Croissant Moon Bakery is the correct answer to breakfast if you are not eating at the hotel.

Port of Entry tips
- Rent strollers and wheelchairs here at rope drop or not at all - the counter runs out on busy mornings and there is no second location inside the park.
- Confisco Grille takes walk-ups more reliably than any other table service at Universal Orlando. It is the fallback when Mythos says no.
- This is the only turning point in the loop. Decide left or right before you walk through the arch, because reversing later costs you a full half circuit.

Mediterranean Hummus Platter
Hummus with warm pita, olives, feta and vegetables, served as a starter or a shared plate at Confisco Grille and the Backwater Bar.
Our take: The best vegan-friendly plate in the park outside Mythos, and large enough to be a light lunch for two. Order it at the Backwater Bar and skip the reservation entirely.
Classic Cinnabon
Cinnabon
The standard Cinnabon cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting, from the franchise counter in Port of Entry.
Our take: Exactly the thing you already know, at a theme park markup. The four-pack of MiniBons is the better order if more than one person wants some.
Chocolate Croissant
A laminated chocolate croissant from the bakery case a short walk inside the turnstiles, sold alongside sandwiches and coffee.
Our take: A decent pastry at a fair price, and the sensible way to eat breakfast inside the gates. Buy it at 8:30 and eat it walking to Hogsmeade.
Croissant Breakfast Sandwich
Egg, cheese and meat on a croissant, made in the morning at the Port of Entry bakery and available until the pastries run out.
Our take: A real breakfast for less than a hotel counter charges, and portable enough to eat on the walk to the first ride. The best breakfast decision inside the park.
