Blondie's is a small deli window in Toon Lagoon serving sandwiches made to order, and its centerpiece is The Dagwood - a comically over-stacked deli sandwich named after Dagwood Bumstead, the character from the Blondie comic strip who gave the sandwich its name in the first place. It is one of the few pieces of Toon Lagoon theming that actually lands with a modern audience.
The rest of the menu is standard deli work: turkey, ham, roast beef, a vegetarian option, chips and pickles. It is made properly rather than assembled from a warmer, which puts it ahead of most quick service in this park.
It has no indoor seating and limited shade, which is a problem in the middle of the day on the island where everyone is already wet.
A properly made deli sandwich in a park full of fryers, and the Dagwood is a genuinely good order. Losing marks only for having nowhere comfortable to eat it.
